Weekend plans and week in review.

September 21, 2012 by Michelle Hinckley |

This weekend my s-i-l and I will be trying our hand at shooting another video.
I’ll also be headed to a shower.
Can I just say…does it seem that no one seems wraps presents anymore?
It’s all gift bags with an explosion of tissue paper out the top.
Lastly, I met a new friend this week.

We had lots to talk about.

I totally agree with you about wrapped presents. I love to wrap presents! A while ago I went to a shower and my friend stood up and said I know which present is Darnetha’s! It was the only one wrapped, in a sea of gift bags 🙂

Your friend has wonderful skin tones – I positively adore gray…and what could possibly be more elegantly timeless than a great string of pearls?

Wrapped boxes always seem to create more mystery (Gee, what’s inside this?) and they are prettier too. Love your color combo and the big black bow.

    Have a glorious week end!

LOL!!! I am sure your conversation with your friend was a lot of fun! Agreee with gift-wrapping, I love it so much, I wrote a whole post about it. I think it’s more personal when you take the time and effort to wrap a present. Have fun at the shower, and oh, don’t forget to bring your new friend! LOL! 🙂

There really is an art to wrapping presents and I love nothing more than spending a few moments to beautifully wrap the gift I’m giving. It seems like it means so much more than tossing in a gift bag! Glad I’m not the only one who thinks gifts are better wrapped 🙂
