We Have a New Blog Design.

Don’t change the channel…you’ve landed at the right place!
We just got a little face lift over the weekend (thanks to Designer Blogs).
Due to my love-hate relationship of technology my site crashed a few weeks ago.
Pretty much all my fault.
I didn’t keep my site and plug-in’s up-to-date and as a result everything went poof (and I call myself a blogger…ahem).
After several hours on the phone we finally got it re-installed but it was all jacked up.
Fixing everything that got broken would be like finding a nail in a hay stack. Instead of going that route I decided to just start over with a new design.
You’ve got to change things up once in a while.
And consider this a public service announcement to KEEP YOUR SITE UPDATED! (And if you don’t, call Designer Blogs).

The first step in the new blog design was for me to create a Pinterest board of several images I wanted to use as inspiration.

From there they designed some logo options.

I picked my top 5 and we played around with them.

The process was pretty painless (aside from me having a hard time picking from all the great options they created).
They talked me off the ledge several times and never made me feel high-maintenance (which I 100% was).
I can’t tell you how many times I emailed with, “Can we try this…?”
Being the professionals they are they gave me a lot of great suggestions about things that would work well and things I didn’t even know I wanted.
I would highly recommend Designer Blogs!
They also offer some less expensive pre-made blog design options as well as ala-carte design elements if you don’t want to do a full-blown redesign.
