Time with Delta…

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time at the Delta Faucet headquarters last week with a fun and talented group of bloggers. (As far as some of my Instagram photos disclosure…all I can say is get a group of female bloggers together and the “silly” makes its debut). It was seriously one of the best trips EVER. I know, right? Three days talking plumbing fixtures? How could that be remotely fun? Well, let’s just say you had to be there. Those Delta folks are a group of very fine people putting out some of the most unique and cutting edge fixtures in the industry.

They gave us the warmest welcome you can imagine and showed up how to whoop it up in Indianapolis. We even got to install a couple of faucets (I guess it’s their idea of a “fun” initiation activity) which we all did successfully.

I was particularly taken by what some of the designers had to say about the creative process of designing. In a nutshell, creativity can’t be forced and at some point you have to get out and let yourself be inspired by the world around you.

This trip will forever be imprinted on my memory. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Delta!
