Things I’ve learned about demolition.

September 28, 2011 by Michelle Hinckley |

1. Sledge hammers are much heavier than then they appear.
2. Don’t wear flip flops to a construction site.
3. Always wear safety goggles.
4. If you show up in a dress they won’t make you work.
5. Insulation is REALLY itchy.

Yes insulation is very itchy!!!!! I had to put that stuff up when my parents built their home. if the foam insulation wasn’t so expensive I would say to use that. Good luck with finishing up your house! 🙂

Oh wow, we had very similar slate rocks cemented onto our entire living room wall, kitchen backsplash, and walls of the kitchen. They were a nightmare. We had tons of help getting rid of them. They are currently spread out in the corner of our house. Wow. You’ve brought back memories.
