The last child syndrome.

February 27, 2014 by Michelle Hinckley |

This boy.

He can make a mess faster than the Tasmanian Devil.

Then he’ll give you THAT face.

IMG_1200

The last child gets away with a whole lot more than the other children.

Perhaps because they’re your last baby…and you know you’ll never experience the Terrible Two’s in that way again.

This boy can be mischief but he can do no wrong in my eyes.

What can I say?

I just love him.

I’d buy him a pony if he asked me to.

*Yes, I cleaned and sanitized the sink previous to bath time.* ๐Ÿ™‚

I have 3 boys as well and my last little guy is the same way, gets away with way more than his brothers did. He is the sweetest little guy though and is my little snuggler. Love your little guy in the sink, so cute!

My boy #4 could get away with murder. Or maybe I’m tired from the other 3? Either way he melts my heart. Good to know others feel the same.

Love it! Maybe that’s it…I’m just too tired to keep the third boy in line. Good perspective. Thanks!

I have three boys myself and this post made me laugh. Our first two boys are twins. Man I thought that was hard until our third miracle was born. He made having twins as first time parents seem like a stroll in the park on a lovely spring day. But that boy has both me and my husband wrapped around his little finger and we love it. Sometimes I just look at my husband and tell him…”you know we’re suckers for him don’t you?” But we know he’s our last and so we go with it. After all it’s his world and we’re just living in it ๐Ÿ™‚

Twins a stroll in the park? That is awesome. What is it about the last baby? They give us a run for our money and have our hearts in their little hand. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our youngest gives the best hugs! Especially after he did some mischief. We joke that he was born with the look on his face as if he was saying: ‘Allright! where’s the party at?!’ He is two but when he comes and wrap his arm around my shoulder, lean his face against mine and says:’ Mommy, I wove you. So…’ and he pauses, I know( and he knows) he did something he should not have but he is way too cute.

That is SOOO sweet. There’s something about a 2 year hug that can wipe away all naughties they do previous. ๐Ÿ™‚
