With spring in the air we took advantage by taking our “Jumbo Ball” to the park .
I won’t dwell on the fact that I spent about 45 minutes inflating the thing in the driveway by myself. My kids “tried” to help but they just ended up letting more air out than was actually going in. So I pumped away while they stared at me, eating beef jerky and asking every other minute when it would be finished.
Finally it was done so in the back of the truck it went for a short ride to a nearby park with a big hill.
Oh sure, he’s smiling now…
About a dozen somersaults, bounces and air-catching later the ball came to a stop.
I won’t lie and pretend I didn’t have 9-1-1 on my cell phone speed dial ready and waiting…
He slowly crawled out and laid there for a a few seconds, completely motion sick, but ready for another run.
After every kid had done a couple of runs I dared my husband to jump in a give it a try.
There was no question…the answer was an absolute, “NO”. My Mr. can get motion sick by running up the stairs.
Then I made him an offer…
he jumped right up, grabbed that thing and tried to squeeze himself in.
We gave him a push and down the hill he went. I won’t repeat what he said at the bottom of the hill.
Ok, my turn.
I will NEVER do that again! (But my kids love it).
I picked up the Jumbo Ball from Costco for $40.00 but if you don’t have a Costco membership you can also order a Jumbo Funny Ball on Amazon for $42.95.

The only way I’d get in that thing is if I had a full body epidural
