Thanksgiving and free stuff.

November 25, 2011 by Michelle Hinckley |

We ate out this Thanksgiving.
No cooking, no cleaning, no fuss, no muss.
Trying to get three little boys to take a picture is as difficult as
trying to fit in your wedding dress 12 years later just for fun.
Despite them being challenging…I’m so grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful men.
When we finally arrived to dinner, this guy slept peacefully on the floor, in the corner for the whole dinner.
Afterwards, we helped our meal digest with a round of glow-in-the-dark bowling set to music from the 80’s.

In other events, we’ve cleared the house of all the cabinets, fixtures, appliances, etc. and they’re all up for grabs.  You want them, they’re yours but you have to pick them up yourself (Sandy, UT).

Yes, they’re dated, but they’re the good, solid stuff.
It’s all in great shape and it all works.  Contact me if you’re interested!

I LOVE that you ate out! What a great idea. I am all about the least stressful way (w 3 little kids myself) to do it. I also LOVE that the baby slept on the floor. Brilliant!!! You have got to do what you have got to do or you will NEVER enjoy a meal with so many little kids.

    Michelle!
Thank you for the cabinets! I’ll be sure to take before and after pictures and send you a link or something. Also, tell your dad thanks for making you give them away 😉 Your renovations look like they’re coming along well (just peeked in the sliding door).
    Thank you again.

    Oh, and @Maggie Mae:
I told my husband that you wanted the old cabinets and he said “Why!?!?!” haha. We were planning on taking them to the scrap metal place, but if you really want them they’re yours. I will call you. We’re planning on taking them out next weekend, but things don’t always go according to plan.

Thanks! I want them to put in a shop for storage. As long as they still function, they will be perfect!

I know how things don’t go as planned. 🙂 Esp with remodeling.

I love the pics of the boys! The baby is so chunkily cute! The last picture of them would be so cute on a photo greeting card!

I will have to consider eating Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant one year…maybe just doing desserts and drinks afterwards at home. Thanks for the idea!

I love that in one blog post your cabinets got repurposed and the person who took your cabinets was able to have her cabinets repurposed. Yea for taking care of each other and the Earth!
