I’ve got a problem. It has to do with a certain muffin top curling over my pants. Oye. It sounds so cliche to start a diet at the beginning of the new year but yes, I amognst the ranks of millions of new year’s dieters. It all hit me when we paid money to have family pictures done and I could only send out the pictures of my boys because I was so dissatisfied with my figure. I could blame it on the lighting but it’s an ugly truth I’ve been avoiding. I could stand to loose 5 pounds. Okay make that 10.
Two babies ago I completed the Body For Life diet and fitness program with great results. But then, another couple pregnancies came and went along with my figure. So this time I’m re-committed. I’m not going to call it a diet, just a committment to have a healthier lifestyle. No more finishing my kids meals. No more late night cookies and milk. No more I LOVE to work out but you ask me to starve myself and I turn in to one mean woman that you’d rather not encounter.
Here’s the plan…
-6 days a week, 6 small meals a daywhich include protein, fruit, veggies and a carb.
-1 day a week is free day. Eat whatever. Donuts in the morning, pizza in the afternoon, fried chicken in the evening…totally legit.
