I’m in the midst of making over my boys bedroom. Not going so well. I wanted to have everything done by the time our next house guests came this Thursday. Not gonna happen. For starters I just can’t get the paint color right. I once saw Jeff Lewis (Bravo’s Flipping Out show) paint a dozen 24 inX24 in samples of different paint colors on the wall and I thought, “all that paint just to test it out?…That’s expensive!” I get it now. I’m on my third paint color. Let’s see…at three paint colors, two coats each, that makes six times I’ve painted the walls in that room. Don’t even get me started on the pesky upholstered headboards I’m trying to create…stay tuned.

Oh my goodness 6 times!! You must be a color perfectionist 🙂 I am sorry things aren’t going smoothly and I wish I could have been more help about the piping you are making. I am sure its going to be so amazing when you are done.

i am all over the samples! it took gregg and me six before we found two we agreed on. now i just take greggs advice on the paint and i will never pick out colors again. but i do love the samples. i will be posting on our blog the final color choice we chose!
