Black and Decker must have seen the post I did two years ago where I used a three foot level to measure, mark and tape stripes in my entryway here.
I can just hear their marketing team now...
"That dumb poor girl. Did she really use that clunker of a level to measure EVERY, SINGLE one of those stripes? Doesn't she know we make a laser level? Let's send her one and let her try it out. She might go jump off a cliff after she figures out all the time she wasted by not using our laser level."

West Elm Love.
Monday morning and back to the grind. My hubby was home for the past two weeks depleting his "use it or loose it" vacation time and now he's back to work. I had a honey-do list a mile long and the only things we crossed off were cleaning the ceiling fans and cleaning under the washer and dryer. He also attempted a third try at refinishing our dining table after some polyurethane blips and has about called it quits. I'm going to have to come up with some "special favors" to keep him at it.On a

Does this hallway look familiar?
I was browsing Design Sponge this morning and came across this striped hallway. "Well that looks strangely familiar," I thought to myself. Same gray stripes, same width, same area of the house as a little hallway project I did a while back? Great minds must think alike I suppose. How about that red DIY chandelier? FABULOUS!

I've been dilligently on the lookout for a couple of wingback chairs. Could these be any cooler?
I came accross this photo of Condoleezza Rice (www.casasugar.com) in these lovely wingbacks...

Sneak Peak…
My bedroom makeover is coming along nicely. I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of a snipet of the room (or rather an element of the room...or rather just my chair styling).18 months ago I found this wing chair in a thrift store. It was upholstered in blue fabric and very dirty. I bought it for a song with the intention of having it re-upholstered. After the fact I learned how much re-upholstery cost. Ouch! That's was I get for being over-eager. Live and learn. Anyhow, I went ahead and had it
