I recently visited a dear friend and toured her custom home that she her husband built and have been living in for about 3 years now. On one hand she was house proud but then revealed that she wanted to move. As she walked me around she recounted how intimidating the building process was and she picked a lot of finishes on the fly that she was really unhappy with now. Counters that clashed with backsplashes that clashed with curtains that clashed with paint choices. Been there done that.

I'll be honest...I get a little scaredy-cat-pants to go down there.
It's cold, dark and gloomy. The florescent lighting hums and makes you look jaundice.
It doesn't help that I DESPISE doing laundry.

Doing the laundry for 4 men and myself is a daily chore.
Everyday I run up and down the stairs to my laundry dungeon with a full basket of dirties.

Today we're doing our Foodie Friday recipe at the beginning of the week instead of the end so we can get this in before Valentine's Day.
I love chocolate dipped strawberries! They have a romantic and fancy air to them.
If you've never tried making them they are much easier than you might think.
First, thoroughly rinse your strawberries and let them fully dry before dipping them.
