Reader project.

January 22, 2010 by Michelle Hinckley |

I don’t like to be outdone. But Jordan Krogman outdid me.

I stumbled upon her photography blog this morning and found this.
The yellow and gray shades are spot on. Even her little gal is appropriately coordinated.

Dang, she’s good.

I’m totally flattered that she took my idea and ran with it. As you remember, my wall didn’t turn out so well and we later wallpapered over it.

So Jordan, you win. And props to you for a fantastic job!

I actually just discovered your blog last week when Jordan posted about copying your project idea! Love both of your girls design ideas!

It’s it fun when someone copies your idea! I always tell my kids, “I’m a trend SETTER, not a trend follower!” They get a kick out of that! Have a great weekend!

LOL Thank you so much for the shout-out! I would have never come up with this on my own, so THANK YOU for the inspiration. I love my wall and sometimes catch myself just starting at it all googly-eyed. ;c)
So glad I found your blog. You’ve got some fabulous ideas.

That wall is so perfect. I wonder how she did that so perfectly? Mine would be a hot mess.

Hi…I’m Jordan’s mom and had to comment about your awesome square pattern! When Jordan first saw it on your blog she had to call me and beg me to immediately check it out…I thought it was so cool and got to see Jordan’s version of it the day she got it done. I love it so much that I have told her she’s coming to my house to help me do it in one of my rooms, too! It will be the reverse of hers, my wall is yellow and will have gray over the top of that. Can’t wait! Keep coming up with more great ideas!

It really is a beautiful project. You are inspiring, and imitation is the best form of flattery, right? 😉
