Have you seen that new tv show on the Lifetime channel called
?
I’m obsessed with it!
You may remember designers Tanya and Tracy from Extreme Home Makeover.
These gals roam the country looking for junk to take back to their store in L.A.
where their contractor Alan transforms their vision in to really cool pieces.
where their contractor Alan transforms their vision in to really cool pieces.
(I’m thinking I need to get myself an Alan).
This trio team has serious creative vision.
Those chairs were transformed from a tire fender of a truck.
The lights in the back used to be a pesticide sprayer off a tractor.
Swinging chair was made from an old grain silo.
My fav is this chandelier made from an old rusty ring and twine.
Chair arms are two radiators.
If you don’t have cable you can go here to watch the show.

I caught the show just last night- I was in love with thier ideas, in hate of thier perfect outfits and mile long legs!! 😛 Don’t we all wish we could look adorable while “picking” in daisy dukes and cowboy boots?!?!?

LOVE This show! Sort of reminds me what I do to my husband- but I only go to the local thrift store! 🙂 It is amazing the creative vision they have- love it!

I love it! They are adorable and hilarious! I love when they go to backwoods Louisiana and those men just don’t know what to do with them!

We’ve been watching every episode. Even my husband comes home and asks if there is a new one.

It’s a great show! they have amazing vision. I play a game with myself and try to see if I have the same vision as they do for their found objects. I think I need to get out more lol.

I feel we all need an Alan 🙂
I would stay away from old pesticide sprayers, though the final product is very cool. I don’t watch tv so thanks for the info!

I love that show! The only problem is that after watching it, my mind comes up with more ideas that I can carry out, ha ha.
Laura says
Loving the ideas…the girls TOTALLY bug us!
Shelley says
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their show! I can’t get over how fast their creative minds work when they see something cool. Also, can’t get over how stinking gorgeous they are. I’ve gotta make sure my husband doesn’t find out about ths show, ha!
Laura Lynn says
I made sure to watch the premiere and need to find out when it’s on again since I only saw the first two episodes. I loved how their ideas came together and how Alan can just make anything.
It was some pretty great stuff but their negotiating skills stink! They need my help in that dept! haha.
Appletree says
I’m pretty sure they are my husbands fantasy threesome. I find him watching all the time.
Allison says
I’ve become slightly addicted to this show too. They have some awesome ideas.

Watching previews I thought “oh here we go – cute posers scoring all the good junk!”. But they are really fun to watch. I agree, I definitely need me an Alan. Wonder if my hubster would mind??

I’ve always loved the idea of turning junk into useful things–and I LOVE Picker Sisters. I just recently finished a Picker Sister project. You can see it here:
