We made it to Salt Lake City.
Bought ourselves a fixer-upper.
Totally un-inhabitable.
Moved in to a “luxury” apartment while we renovate.
“Luxury” apartment turned out to be craptastic.
Each day something new breaks, or backs up, or has a stench.
We’re planning on falling through to the first floor tomorrow.
In the mean time…here’s a few pretties to uplift my spirits.
(Simply Grove).
(Coco+Kelley).
(Full House).
If you know photo sources, please share.
I’m happy you made it to Salt Lake. I’m north of you in Suracuse. Hope all goes well with your new home.
Congrats on the move and hopefully the new apartment gets better! Have great weekend : )
Welcome to Salt Lake! Sorry it’s been a nightmare 🙁 I’d love to get together sometime when you’re all settled in 🙂
craptastic. what a great word!
your luxury apartment sounds just as dreamy as our “totally remodeled rambler” that we are currently renting. we were moving here from tennessee, and signed the lease without even seeing the inside of the house…a mistake i have been dealing with for three years now! i am sure that you are going to make your new house fantastic!
Oh how horrible. 🙁 I’m sorry. I hope things get better soon! Love these inspiration pictures.
Oh no Michelle, hoping and praying things get better, hang in there!
I love a good fixer-up-er. Moving sucks. We’re in the middle of the same process. Unfortunately, we’re inhabiting the uninhabitable space while we do the reno! Yikes!
Congrats on the move. Good luck surviving!
2nd to last photo is from Canadian House and Home by designer Tommy Smythe.
I am so excited to see what you do with the place!!! 🙂
much love
xoxo
