One man’s junk…

July 30, 2009 by Michelle Hinckley |

Is this girl’s treasure!

An office was throwing out these old, dirty, falling apart chairs.
I could see why, they were pretty narsty!

I could also see that they had great lines for simple slipcovers.

They now sit at the heads of my table.

They would even work well enough to use as extra seating without being obvious dining chairs.

I honestly cannot believe how you trasnsformed those chairs. I’m so inspired–I literally have been stalking my craigslist. Now. Did you make those slipcovers yourself? If so, I’m flying out to AZ (AZ right?) immediately and getting sewing lessons from you. BRILLIANT!

love your house and projects! i am so curious as to where you got your sofa in your living room and how you keep it clean…i like the the arms and pillows and, of course, the white slip cover…i have 3 boys and two black labs…cleaning hints from others are always a plus 🙂
