This weekend I attended the most lovely and sophisticated baby shower I’ve ever been to.
A real live afternoon tea party (no I didn’t have any…I knew you were wondering). There were no GUESS-THE-MELTED-CANDY BAR-IN-THE-DIAPER type games at this soiree.
Ladies came dressed in their lovliest attire. Pinky fingers pointed north as the Ladies sipped from their tea cups and conversed. There were three tiered stands of cucumber finger sandwiches, mini lemmon cakes, and crumpets as far as the eye could see. My diet went out the window the minute I stepped foot in my neighbor’s decked out home. We all received the prettiest take-home/thank you gift…
