A few weeks ago while searching for some interesting containers to make cement planters from and I came across this purple vase at a thrift store.
I loved the texture but it looked like something from the 80’s.
For $2.00 I decided to see if I could give it a little face lift.
I love me some spray paint but I have been painting a whole lot of anything lately.
I pulled out my trusty Rustoleum primer and gold paint in a can and went to work.
The texture of pattern remind me a bit of these little beauties from School House Electric…
Have a great weekend!

Awesome idea, it’s simply and cheap. I must checkout shops for something similar. Elizabeth

Ok crazy! There’s something in the thirft store waters! I picked up that same vase as well in a Goodwill here in Phoenix! Still need to spray mine. I couldn’t decide on a color but it is BEAUTIFUL in gold. I actually spotted this vase in the room makeover for Kristen Jackson’s daughter from the Hunted Interior too!

Ok, now that is crazy. I’ve had several people say they have the same vase that they picked up from thrifting. 🙂
