Things were looking up last night at 10pm when I was peeling tape soon after we applied the black coat. It was tedious so we decided to call it a night and hit it again tomorrow. BIG MISTAKE!
THEN…
This morning…this happened.
Operation den makeover is officially a BUST! Paint peeled all the way down to the drywall. I have no clue what to do next exept write to Oprah and ask her to send her cutie pie, Nate Burkus. Back to the drawing board.

Oh man!!! I would have pulled my hair out after spending all that time measuring, taping, measuring, taping, and then painting. Atleast we know the pattern and paint color looked amazing together.

i did this same pattern in my hallway and, luckily, it worked out for me. I wonder…is it the type of paint you used? Oh, I’m so sorry it didn’t work for you – i know exactly how it feels to do all that taping….
