Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2013 by Michelle Hinckley |

I vow to never leave Christmas shopping to the last two days before Christmas again.
It’s enough to turn a person in to a major Scrooge.
To avoid the typical Christmas morning spiolage, this year we’ve told our boys that Santa will be leaving three presents each just as Jesus received 3 gifts of gold, frakincense and myrrh.
Choose wisely.

Over the next two days there will be Luke 2 and Matthew 2, Aunt M.’s famous homemade Mexican feast, decorating sugar cookies, boys checking to see if its “time” at 1am, 3am and 5am, ham and potatoes and fresh powder skiing. I’m looking forward to spending time with my men.
Merry Christmas everyone!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Three gifts like Jesus got is a great idea – keeps things simple and also re-targets focus. I hope your family has an amazing Christmas celebration. 🙂

love that Michelle. I think kids these days get TOO MUCH STUFF and their lives are focused on the material things. Congrats to you and your hubby for doing that…….

Thank you Michelle, the same to you and your family and loved ones.
it’s been a really rough season for us, my dear MOM who lived out here in Oro Valley, near us, for the past 10 years, just passed on….October 30th …..and then her birthday came after, she transitioned just short of her 90th birthday. Then the holidays came upon us, and we also flew to Indiana for her final Memorial and Burial. Then Xmas came…trying to RECOVER is my focus for 2014! Two days ago, my step-father-in-law passed away in Wisconsin. What a cycle we are in! Our LOVED ONES are still with us living in our HEARTS! And I am just catching my breath………

Oh girl, I am SO sorry to hear that. What a cycle indeed. I don’t know how you’re dealing with ALL of that. My heart goest out to you and your family. My sincere condolences.
          Michelle
