I’ve been keeping a secret.
OK, so I may have mentioned that we were finishing our basement but as far as I’m concerned, unless you have the pictures, it’s just hearsay
(as far as me and home projects that is…sometimes I dream out loud).
The biggest reason I haven’t been showing you all the details of our basement project is mainly because construction pictures are a snooze.
Unless you know what you’re looking for it’s just a dusty, messy space.
B-O-R-i-n-g.
Finishing the basement just doesn’t mean we get an added family room, bedroom and bathroom…
But I can finally start putting all the crap-ola that is currently crammed in our upstairs bedrooms back in to the basement and FINALLY start designing and decorating those rooms! Three whole rooms and a basement to decorate!!! Yipee-yi-yay! As you can see from the basement pictures, progress is being made. It’s far enough along that it’s time to start picking out finishes…the fun part. Some awesome sponsors including the Tile Shop and Craft Art and Delta Faucets have stepped up to help out with the project. I can’t wait to get your input and help with making some decisions.

I can just feel you rubbing your hands together in anticipation of ‘the search’ for flooring, paint colors, area rugs, bath fixtures, etc, etc. I’m staying tuned! This will be great fun!
