It’s 2013?

January 3, 2013 by Michelle Hinckley |

The last couple weeks have been a bit of a fog.  4 out of the 5 of us all got the flu.  Christmas morning we perked up enough to unwrap gifts then all retired back to bed.  A few days later when half of us finally felt semi-well enough to travel we high-tailed it down to Vegas to visit Grandma and pa.  Grandma took very good care of us by lathering us with coconut oil, stuck a vaporizer full of Vicks vapo-ick in every room and making us drink some sort of “make you get better quick” soup.  She was wonderful.  In my lounging I spent a good amount of time pinning lots of pretty eye candy.

So apparently 2012 passed and the new year came while we were all in a flu induced fog.  The lovely Erin, from Designer Blogs gave me a fresh new blog makeover and switched me from Blogger to WordPress. I’m still getting used to it but plan to do a post on the pros and cons of making the switch on a later date…until then I will say it’s pretty rad (a word I don’t use lightly).  I’ve also proposed adding some pretty technical and serious design elements to my blog.  If Erin can pull it off I think it will really make a significant impact on the world of blog and web design.  Pretty presumptuous of me, huh!

By the way, if you’re not already, please like us on Facebook and follow us on Pinterest and Twitter.  Also, please update your Feedburner account to my new feed: feeds.feedburner.com/4men1lady in order to get our new posts.  We’re thrilled at the prospects of what 2013 has to offer (and you can bet none of us will be missing our flu shots come September)!

P.S. We have a special guest post recipe for Foodie Friday from the talented Melissa who blogs at Lulu the Baker. You won’t want to miss what she has in store for us!

Also – that image with the beds hanging from the ceiling – terrifying. That lovely yellow door – :::swoon:::
