Last week, Air and Water, Inc. approached us about doing a review on their NewAir Icecream Maker.
Wild, because I just tried to find an ice cream maker last week but couldn’t find one because they’re considered a “seasonal” item.
So, here we go…
Instructions say to just add the ingredients, hit a button and in under an hour you get 1.5 quarts of ice cream.
We’ll see.
These boys sat here for literally the full hour asking, “is it done yet?”
Then viewing space was encroached…cue the sibling rivalry.
Saved by the beep.
This baby gets a thumb’s up!
I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I can remember my mom got an ice cream machine years ago that involved a lot of turning of a crank, ice and salt(?) that we used ONCE. This thing is like the crock pot of ice cream. Add the ingredients, hit a button and in under hour you have ice cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet. We made ice cream last night and again this morning (shhh! Don’t tell Jenny).
I’m thinking the NewAir Ice Cream Maker is the perfect gift for that person who has everything.
From now until Dec. 31, 2011 you can get a $25.00 discount by entering the code 4MEN1LADY!

I scored a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker at a neighbor’s yard sale last summer for $5 and we became ice cream making addicts! There are so many yummy recipes out there to try.
My sister in law picks on us that we’re turning all “Walton family” on her but its a fun experience and theres nothing like homemade ice cream.

I recall those Saturdays of making ice cream the old fashioned way ice, salt, hours and hours of turning that handle…ugh! I might have to get me one of these.

I can’t believe how big your boys are! But, then it’s been 8 years since we left AZ. Time flies. Hope your remodel is coming along well…I’m sure you’re antsy to get out of transition mode and get settled!
