Well folks…we’ve found our new humble abode, emphasis on “HUMBLE”. This place is in a lovely neighborhood but is a REAL FIXER! We’re actually buying my old childhoold home that hasn’t been updated since the 70’s and has been inhabitated by renters…4 bachelor men…and a cat for the past 10 years. EVERYTHING needs to go. We’re talkin, roll up a huge dumpster and throw the whole house in. While reno is taking place we’ll be renting an apartment (that has a pool and a gym…yippe).
As an avid DIY’er, having a blank canvas to work on is a dream come true. On the flip side, now that my dream project has been laid before me I’m feeling a little gun shy about where to start, making the wrong decisions, budget contraints, etc. Wa, wa, wa, right!?
