We’re drowning in candy around here with three Halloween parties this weekend. Do you ration your kids candy or is it a sugar free for all?

When I was younger, we had the day after Halloween off school, so my parents told us we were allowed to binge on candy all day. The next day, what was left went to my moms work with her. We would eat so much candy, we wanted it to just be gone and out of the house… Worked well!

I googled your blog after seeing your house on The Nate Show last week. AmAzInG job. I too live in a 2 year old tract home (up in the Phoenix area). Love what you have done with yours! Do you have pictures of your kitchen? Love that you had guts to paint your cabinetry in the guest bath. You are brave.

The day after halloween, I let the kids eat as much as they want, then the rest goes to work with dad the next day. I figure they actually eat less than if I would ration it out, because by evening, they don’t want anymore because they have a stomach ache by then. It has worked well so far!
