Growth charts.

July 21, 2011 by Michelle Hinckley |

One of the things my boys are obsessed with is their height (or as my 3 year old puts it, “how much am I”?). We had a special spot to measure their growth on the garage wall in AZ but then we moved and so went our growth wall. Imagine my delight when I came across Growing Up Vintage growth chart boards!
As part of their sponsorship, they provided us with personalized growth charts. Now my boys each have their own growth chart to track their development. When they move out when they’re 30 they can take their boards with them and track memories with their own children.
Liz is the artist behind the beautiful boards. She can personalize them with a beautiful design, initials, or just leave them plain. Check out some of her work:
I chose three boards with my boys initials.
Oye.
Everything a competion.
Someone doesn’t like being the smallest.
Not only will you love your board but your purchase will be helping Liz and her family with a special quest. Liz started her etsy shop to generate a little income after she had to quit her job because their baby of 2 months was diagnosed with a genetic liver disease requiring many hospital stays and appointments (see blog here). After a successful liver transplant for their girl they’re ready for their next family member to join them. It’s been a long road and their hopes for another baby has led them to Ethiopia and they couldn’t be more thrilled. Your purchase will be aiding them in the adoptions costs to bring their newest baby home.
For a limited time you can get 10% off when you purchase your own growth board. When you checkout enter coupon code: “THREEMEN”. Go here to shop now!

So cute. My grandmother used to track all of our heights on a doorframe. It’s definitely a cute tradtion.

Love this! I have a spot on the wall at my parents where I secretly marked my height when I was little!

I’ve got to make one for my son, all his measurements are on the inside of our kitchen broom cupboard:)
