For those of you celebrating this day can I just say how grateful I am to get to do what I really love to do!?
I love the blessing I have to be a wife and mother and raise my little men. I also love that I get to blog about our lives and bring “pretty” to the world.

Most of you have probably completed your celebratory feast with family and friends by now.
We’re just waiting for our little guy to wake up from his nap so we can embark on our after-turkey-family-bowling-match.

It’s the Google Nexus 7 Tablet from Staples.
I had the opportunity to review one and let’s just say it’s awesome!
If I get a quick second during the day my guilty pleasure has got to be surfing Pinterest and browsing blogs. It has quick response and fast loading which is can be a make or break when it comes to selecting a tablet.
Plus it’s the ideal size at 7 inches tall. Perfect to hold in one hand while you finger navigate with the other.
I recently discovered on this Android is that you can Swype to type. You never had to lift a finger to peck at the letters. Just swype your finger from one key to the next. It is seriously LIFE CHANGING. SO much faster than peck typing!
The other thing that I love is the 5 MP camera. When there’s something I have to snap I most often reach for my tablet to record all of life’s important moments.

I have one and I absolutely love it! What I loved the most (besides what you mentioned) was that whw I did the setup and logged in with my Google account it brought over everything from my Andrpid phone and all my pictures are automatically backed up even if i delete them.
Oh yes…that is another awesome feature of the tablet! 🙂

I was wondering if you have any information on the rug the tablet is laying on in the third picture down. I tried searching around for it a bit but didn’t seem to find anything. I LOVE the texture. Thanks!
The rug is actually from Joss and Main. But check plushrugs.com. I’ve seen they have several very similar!
