Finally,a playard that’s Breeze to set up!

Ahh, the portable crib/playard.
Good in theory but an epic fail in the engineering department.
The doo-hickey that needs 4 adults with high IQ’s working in unison to assemble and disassemble.
Mid set up, it looks like a disastrous game of Twister with lots of cursing.
Let me introduce the latest playard to hit the market,
which I’m also convinced will revolutionize the portable crib / playard industry.
It’s called the Breeze by 4moms.
It’s called the Breeze (am I repeating myself?) because it really is…A BREEZE to set up!
Even if you’re not in the market for a playard you have to watch this to see how cool it really is.

Did you see it also comes with a playard, bassinet, travel bag and changing pad?

I’m a “glass is half empty” type of gal so I was skeptical that set up could really be that easy…
even after watching the video.

Wouldn’t you know, it really was that easy.
I mean, we’re talking 2 seconds flat to set the thing up.I hate it when I’m proven wrong.

I use it as a corral when I’m unloading this dishwasher or taking hotties out of the oven.

  3. The hubs and I have a farmette in Maryland and keeping our 10 month old occupied with work to be done can be a little tough. Being able to set up and take down a play area with such ease would be AWESOME!!!

  4. We just found out that we are having our second baby. The two will be only 2 years apart in age. Something that is so quick to pop up while I have a toddler at my leg would be amazing. with my 1st we did not have a play yard so i am very excited for the opportunities this could bring to my family!!

  46. Two words: ONE. HANDED!!!!! WOOHOO! I think we can all relate to the frustrations of setting up a pack and play. Even though when you become a parent your one-handed skills are in “expert mode” the pack and play is the boss of all baby products. Until the breeze came alone it’s always been a two-handed job.

  48. That is cool! But I would be concerned: does it really lock tight open? What if it collapsed when a baby was in it? Does it have a locking mechanism? What if a baby reached under the pad and pulled that loop? Or if a baby got trapped in that loop and strangled? Would any of those things be possible?

  49. Ah! I love it! Best thing about it? It exists, we’ve been borrowing a pack and play for our 8 month old and I feel guilty everytime I use it. It would be great to have our own! Besides that, one handed easy set up? Amazing!

  63. I’m about to be a new, first-time mom and a friend lent me her Pack n Play. My husband took….15 minutes setting it up – snapping things into place, inserting stuff, folding, pulling, etc. It was so incredibly daunting!

    What I love the most about the Breeze is that there is finally SOMETHING on the market that is easy and doesn’t overwhelm a new momma!!!

  223. I visited to their site, and love how easy it is to push down to set up and pull up to collapse! That is so much easier than my pnp that you have to mess with popping the side bars in and out… you need 4 hands for it! The breeze looks like I can do it by myself!

I like that The breeze comes with a bassinet (eliminating the need to buy one on top of the playpen like most of them), a leakproof portable changing pad (because well accidents happen), and a travel bag (again we won’t have to spend on getting one like you usually have to do) Great product!

We are still paying off my $20,000 in hospital bills from my son’s birth (yes, with insurance!) due to emergency c-section. Most of it’s damage came from my temper tantrums trying to set it up! Push this button to lock/uncock the stupid side arm — but no, you nearly break your fingers trying to get it to click. It takes forever to get it just in that sweet spot. Or an arm won’t lock when you need it to, or the bottm locks before you get the arms all figured out and then it’s another hassle. Ugh! I ditched ours because it made me crazy nuts. I still need one though! We go visiting family quite often, or head to the lake or the beach and having a play yard for our baby would be heaven!

  423. I just saw this in a store yesterday and was looking for it online! As a first time Mom, you don’t understand how ease of setup is critical in items you register for. My friends and family all live 2 hours away so we bring the baby back home once or twice a week and usually for one over night. We ended up buying 2 swings (first one wasnt portable and couldnt travel with it) 2 bassinets- same problem, 3 highchairs, one for the house, one for my parents house and one to travel with.
    Our pack and play is great, plays music, has storage for diapers and a changing station but takes 3 adults 20 minutes to break down and 30 to set up. It is heavy and bulky to carry and pack to travel.
    This one was AMAZING! I tried it myself and although i did need both hands, it literally folded in less than 30 seconds!And only 2 parts. the pad and the rest.
    I NEED ONE….well I want one. still trying to justify a seond playyard.
    I reccomend that everyone registers for this one. Its the only play yard/bassinet/home or travel sleep/play unit you will need from newborn to infant.
