Have you noticed how chic the red medical cross emblem has become as of late?
It’s popping up in the design world everywhere…
For the past few years I’ve been adding the 1st aid cross to several items around my house for a little embellishment.
It’s an easy way to take something vanilla and give it some visual interest.
I recently scored some vintage medical jars.
Using my Cricut machine I cut some red crosses out of cranberry red colored vinyl.
(This design is so straight forward you don’t even need a vinyl cutting machine for it. You can even use paint if you don’t want to use vinyl).
Then I transferred the emblem on to my jar and boom, instant eye candy.
I also scored this vintage metal box from while out thrifting the other day for $3.00.
It turned out to be the perfect organizer for my letterboard letters.
I wouldn’t just display the metal box but with the cross it’s the main focus now.
