Does this hallway look familiar?

February 12, 2010 by Michelle Hinckley |

I was browsing Design Sponge this morning and came across this striped hallway. “Well that looks strangely familiar,” I thought to myself. Same gray stripes, same width, same area of the house as a little hallway project I did a while back? Great minds must think alike I suppose. How about that red DIY chandelier? FABULOUS!

Your hallway looks amazing! I am trying to get my husband to consider stripes in one of our rooms. It looks hard!

You’re an inspiration–what a wonderful thing to be! I like the mirror and the red chandy. Too bad they didn’t link back to you!

that pop of red is a fun addition to your look even though this is not yours. I bet you inspired that look. So next question is there going to be a colored chandlier in your future. OOOOH maybe a pop of your green, Hmmmmm???? Kathysue

Do you feel a little cheated? Technically Ive never seen this exact design until you did it? I mean being truly honest, no one gave you credit as an inspiration or anything…not even referencing the fact that its been done before.

How does it make you feel…honestly?
