Customizing your wedding invitations.

June 23, 2013 by Michelle Hinckley |

The Mr. and I are coming up on our 14th year wedding anniversary soon.  Hard to believe it’s been THAT long! Although it seems like forever ago I can still remember it like it was yesterday.  It was a big hoopla of an event.  Looking back I would do it very different.  Smaller, more intimate.  No pink.  All white. Even the invitations…

Wedding invitations have come such a long way since I got married. I can remember printing my own invites on my home computer and they were pretty vanilla. Now days, the sky’s the limit when it comes to invitations.  With the use of photos, color, fonts and graphics invitations can say a lot about you and your personal style.  I recently came across a new site called Basic Invite that allows you to completely customize almost every aspect of your invitations from the color, patterns and text.

This is a screen shot that shows how you can easily manipulate the elements from your own computer on their website.

Believe it or not this is the same invitation done up by just changing a few simple things like the colors, patterns and backgrounds.

They have over 100 different patterns so each invitation will be unique.

They also offer wedding save the date cards, postcards and magnets (genius…now no one has an excuse to forget your event).
Basicinvite is currently offering 20% off your order.

This is a paid post however all opinions are 100% my own.
