If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you may have noticed a new coffee table in my pics that I haven’t mentioned up until now.
First, let’s rewind to the coffee table ottoman that we replaced.
Remember this white ottoman? 8 years ago I couldn’t find anything I wanted so my husband and I built our own. After we built it we had it professionally upholstered and loved it. But you know me…I’m all about change and the time had come to change it up. I had a modern design in my head that I had wanted to try for some time. I partnered with Craft Art to create a stunner.
It’s actually made from the same Walnut material that we used in our basement bathroom and living room.
Believe it or not it’s butcher block, which is the same material you would use as a counter top or cutting board.
The walnut grain detail is so rich…really pops in the room.
Not only that, it’s tougher than nails. I walked in the room the other day to my youngest man dancing on top it like his own personal stage.
I’ve since filled it with plenty of accessories to combat that tap dance party.
If you’re interested in your own butcher block / wood top creation from Craft Art you can contact them directly.
They are also launching CA Basics this month so keep an eye out!
*I received material to use in my home but not have been compensated in any other form.*

Love the coffee table! Can you tell me where you got the shag rug?
Michelle Hinckley says
I got the rug from Home Depot then, believe it or not, I painted it! Check out this link: https://4men1lady.com/apartment-makeover-with-frogtape-painting/

The table is beautiful! Did you build it? Did they build it? I perused their website and am sold!
Michelle Hinckley says
They built it! I was planning on constructing it myself but it came already put together! Yipee.
