Tell me you love it.
Tell me it reminds you of the ocean.
I'm just not sure.
It's a big departure from colors I normally work with.
Sometimes you may love a color but it might now work in your space with all kinds of variations of lighting.
Under normal circumstances I ALWAYS test color samples out in my space before I make a commitment.
However, at this point in our renovation...I'm tired and just want to get it done and over with.
As a result, I talked myself in this
Weekly house update.
House is coming along but I'll be honest...I'm completely construction weary.
I'm hoping I'll be singing a different tune once moved in and settled but at this point, I'm emotionally spent.
Running back and forth to the house several times a day, babysitting tradesmen, trying to run my business from home, raising three boys by myself (husband is putting in long hours at the house when not at work), it's all taking its toll.
There is just no time for everything that needs to get done.

I've been toying with the idea of adding a pop of color to our front door.
The ocean is my idea of paradise and I've always been inspired by its soothing colors.
But how do I go about pulling a color out when there are so many different shades of blue and green?

Make yourself a pretty river rock bed or a big mud wrestling pit.
My Sweetie has dreams of building a rock wall but we've got enough work inside that those rocks will be sitting there for years.

Weekly House Update.
Some very exciting installations happened at the house this week.
Most exciting - COUNTERS WENT IN and they are GORGEOUS!
While there were serious problems going on in the world I was staying up at night fretting about what counters to put in. As you may remember these were my options.
1st choice: Some kind of white marble.
2nd choice: White Quartzite.
3rd choice: Granite.
Last (and most practical at this point) choice: Formica.
