I just received some new pillow covers from Skoope Home and couldn't be more thrilled!  I seem to have acquired quite a collection of pillows over the years that I paired them with.  Skoope pillow is on the far right with the Ikat design.  Choosing was muy difficult.  She has tons of great patterns to choose from.   (Black pillow with monogram is from Stitches by LouAnn).  I had her do the reverse side of the ikat pillow with the gray chevron fabric.   I also ordered the pink ikat cover.  To

I was walking through Lowe's the other day for a can of spray paint and I happened upon the Valspar color swatches. The colors just grabbed me. I picked one up then saw another, then another. Next thing I knew I practically had one of everything. I don't know why...I've got about 6 color fan decks stashed in my closet. Just something about seeing them all in front of me.  I love my house. It feels perfectly peaceful and serene (when it's clean). It is a reflection of what I would like my life to be like.But my life isn't perfectly serene (or clean).It's loud, and whimsical and colorful.This better reflects what my life is REALLY like.

 Our grout is done thanks to a little professional help. I would have run the cabinets the entire length of the wall but then there was the sliding glass door to contend with which didn't make that possible. So instead, I installed the tiles floor to ceiling in that little breather space. This room needed a clock and this was the perfect place for one.
