I'm so glad to be done with our kitchen construction! The decisions, the dust, the mess, the stress!
One of my many design hang-ups was about what type of counters to go with (as I'm sure you well remember). In the end we went with Statuary Veined Marble and Soapstone in the kitchen.

Since I've finished my living, dining, kitchen and bathrooms (pictures of the lu coming) it's now time to turn my attention to the bedrooms. I've been searching high and low for beautiful, affordable furnishings which brought me to Fashion for Home.

The perfect addition to a long Sunday afternoon is a sweet treat.
My family's favorite is a recipe that my mom has been making ever since I can remember.
It's a Samoan treat called Pani-Popo (not to be mispronounced as Pan-0-PooPoo).
However you say it, it's really just the most delicious coconut rolls you'll ever taste and super simple to make!
Ingredients:
1. 1/2 cup sugar.
2. 1/2 can of coconut milk approx 10 oz. (my favorite is Mae Ploy).

It feels like a peaceful, serene space amidst my very hectic life. I love it.

Moms Best Hot Product Party.
Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Moms Best Hot Product Party.
It was a great opportunity to put on my big girl clothes and play socialite for an evening with fellow bloggers.
The food was delicious...although I noticed that lovely, dainty girls seem to make a habit of only eating one-third of their desert.
Hmm...maybe I should learn that trick? I only ate one-third of my third desert. Does that count?
