For some people, the mountains speak to them.
Others are at home by the water.
Me, I love the desert.
So I decided to bring a little desert in to my home with a DIY terrarium.
A terrarium is really just a mini green house. The environment inside the container is supposed to be the ideal growing conditions for many plants.
It needs very little watering because the closed environment and plant circulates the water.
With the exception of the jar (Target) and the charcoal (local gardening

Who said goodies in an Easter basket are just for kids?
Definitely not me!
A few of my fab blogging friends and I have teamed up with Family Share to giveaway an ipad mini and a $50.00 itunes gift card!
I know there's all this buzz about ipads but can I just tell you they are just as cool as all the hype has made them out to be. I recently got one in order to work when away from home and they are AWESOME (sung in a high-pitched opera voice)! It's the little tool you didn't know you

Gives it a sense of history and story behind it.
I recently scored this old metal bookcart at a school auction. It was quite the hot commodity but I was determined it was going home with me.

Let’s talk about phones baby!
I've been using my new Window's Phone for almost two months now and I'm back with one final review about my experience (you can read my other reviews here and here). I can honestly say that if I were going to go out and buy a smart phone I would buy the Window's Phone. It really is so user friendly, things load quickly and the picture is amazingly crystal clear. By way of importance it ranks right up there with my keys and wallet. My favorite feature about the phone is the "kid's corner"
