It's been one heck of a last few days. Mr Vertigo won't leave me the heck alone. Then his friend Mr. Strep throat decided to pay me an unfriendly visit. And to further matters Mother Nature heard I like the warmth so a heat spell came through yesterday and set a 95 degree record...to which the power company responded by knocking our neighborhood's electricity out. All day. My sweet wonderful neighbors rescued my milk, popsicles and eggs from a refrigerator that just didn't want to stay
Home Advisor Review #2.
Last week I posted about the opportunity I had to review Home Advisor's site by searching, scheduling and using a couple of services. I was more than happy to schedule a maid service and also get my windows cleaned. Who wouldn't?
What I loved most about their site was reading the reviews from actual customers. It's so hard to know if a service is good and read some really positive (and not so positive) reviews which really helped me narrow down who to hire.

A friend once asked me what my purpose for blogging was and the first thing that came to mind was, "to bring 'pretty' to the world".

Seriously, I had to call in and cancel last minute, the day of because of Vertigo? I know, I still can't believe whatever that was hit me like a mack truck. Now that there's a little more light streaming through my dirty, winter washed windows I'm discovering just how much my home needs a good spring cleaning. 8 years ago this wouldn't have been an issue. The Mr. and I would just take the weekend and scrub the house top to bottom. Now that 3 little men have entered the picture, getting (and keeping) the house clean
