Summer is here and my front porch has been looking a little frumpy. I turned to Pinterest for some outdoor inspiration and found a handful of DIY projects I just had to try.
My first project...this DIY Mid-Century inspired plant stand.
The instructions looked pretty straight forward but as DIY'er who has a few project under her belt, I know that all projects take triple the amount of time you think they will.
The tricky thing about this project is that if you don't have the right tools,
My new favorite HEALTHY ice cream.
It may be a little late to start thinking about bathing suit season but I am. And of course I'm thinking about what crazy diet can help me loose 15 pounds by June but then I speak some sense in to myself. I'm done with diets, fads and hating on my body. I've tried to cut every bad thing out there including sugar, carbs, even certain fruits that are considered "bad". All that ends up doing is make me want it more. I just can't do it anymore. I'm now looking to make healthier choices as well
Refinishing a steel dresser.
You guys know I love me a good industrial piece of furniture (dresser 1, dresser 2, Simmons Desk 3).

Suffice it to say it was in AWFUL shape.
From what I can guess, it looked like someone had intentions of stripping the authentic enamel green by
Oh the places you’ll go…
My men and I have been blessed to go on some fabulous vacations. However, of all the trips we have ever taken as a family, an RV road trip has been the most fun and memorable out of all of them.
NO LIE!
You may remember we did an RV trip two years ago with Access RV Rentals here in Salt Lake City, UT. Before that trip I was not looking forward to it. The high-maintenance side of me had a pre-judgement that RV-ing was the complete opposite of luxury. I couldn't fathom sitting on an bumpy RV
Bringing Spring To Our Front Porch.
Salt Lake City weather is unpredictable. One day we're wearing shorts in 70 degree weather the next day it's dumping snow (case in point...3 days ago). I've been itching to plant some flowers but have been shy to pull the trigger with the looming threat of another spring snow. Instead, I decided to spruce up my front porch with some container planting until I'm ready to commit to some in-ground planing.
I teamed up with Monrovia plants to show just how easy it is to add some color and life
