The only thing better than finding an awesome vintage piece is getting it for free!
That's right folks.

My dad picked this desk up 30 -ish years ago when schools were discontinuing buying these models of desks and they had a small surplus left over.
I asked him why he bought it?
"I thought they were neat so I bought it."
Nuff said.
(Apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree).
It has been collecting dust in the basement for years. When I was in college he was
Galaxy Note 8 Tablet…want one?
Do you own a tablet? I consider them to be one of the wonders of the world. It's essentially condensing a clunky computer and putting it in the palm of your hand. This is going to date me but I can remember my Freshman year in college one of our first assignments was to go down to the library and open up an email account. You want to see some very confused students try explaining the foreign concept of email to them.
When Staples asked if I'd like to review the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 I
Urban field trip with a dose of physics.
It just so happened that we had a free day this past week. No sports camps, no play-dates, no plans.
So we took the opportunity to go have a spontaneous adventure and explore downtown.
This wasn't just a mindless exploration. Oh no...we inadvertently learned that

That's a field trip I would classify as physics in the real world.
Happy 4th everyone!

At any rate, I've been shopping for a new one have come across some hot office supplies that will never never make you think of vanilla "manilla" again.
Who doesn't love fab.com? I actually just purchased those peg magnets which are surprisingly
Time with Delta…
If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time at the Delta Faucet headquarters last week with a fun and talented group of bloggers. (As far as some of my Instagram photos disclosure...all I can say is get a group of female bloggers together and the "silly" makes its debut). It was seriously one of the best trips EVER. I know, right? Three days talking plumbing fixtures? How could that be remotely fun? Well, let's just say you had to be
Treasure Find.
Have you ever gone to a store for nothing in particular...just to kill time? Then all of the sudden, you see it, and it sees you. Time goes in slow motion. Harps begin to play. You see your soul mate in the form of a piece of furniture. That's pretty much the story when I saw this vintage, metal table.
And my diy toy box fits perfectly under it...how serendipitous is that?
I found it at the Old Flamingo...same place I found the vintage metal dresser a few months ago that now sits in my
