Rewind to 2009. I picked this lamp at TJ Max for a song. You can't really tell from the pic but the lamp is HUGE. It was kind of ugly but I swear it seems like ugly and quirky are the new pretty in design. It was a little too ugly for my liking so I sprayed it a cream color and it looked worlds better.
The family that purchased our house came in and wanted to buy practically everything. I reluctantly sold her a few things but the lamp wasn't one of
Printing with Zink hAppy!
For the past few months I've had to keep a secret from you.
It's been very difficult.
I have a new BFF.
It's called the ZINK hAppy Printer and today is its launch!
You've never seen a printer like this.
It's little.
Little as in it fits in my purse (you never know when you'll need your wallet, your car keys or a printer when you're on the go).
It operates wirelessly and can be run from your phone or tablet.
It's revolutionary in that it uses NO ink cartridges, ribbons or toners. I
Pantry Crates.
Remember the vintage wooden crate boxes I scored about a month ago and diy'ed them up a bit?
I had so much fun with them that I started to accumulate more.
Because I can't do just one.
No I have to buy every wooden crate, chair, table, furniture piece within a 10 mile radius.
There I go again with that dang hoarding tic.
On a skill level from 1-10 (1 being easy, 10 being hard) this is about a 2.
Seriously, it's super easy and took me 15 minutes to attach 8 casters on two crates.
I
The laundry dungeon and a $500. gift card giveaway.
My laundry room...aka THE LAUNDRY DUNGEON.
I'll be honest...I get a little scaredy-cat-pants to go down there.
It's cold, dark and gloomy. The florescent lighting hums and makes you look jaundice.
It doesn't help that I DESPISE doing laundry.
And rightfully so.
Doing the laundry for 4 men and myself is a daily chore.
Everyday I run up and down the stairs to my laundry dungeon with a full basket of dirties.
Well, I plan to change all that. Unfortunately, my redesign plan got put on
DIY tissue paper flowers.
I've been a busy little bee diy'ing tissue paper flowers for the past month for a hush, hush event coming up.
They are actually quite easy following a few easy steps.
The more paper you use, the fuller your flower will be. I've also used 16 1/2 x 24 tissue paper sheets that work just fine as well. If you want a smaller flower just cut your paper in half. You can also alternate different colors of paper for a multicolored look.
Basically you fold up your paper like a

At the beginning of the summer I was exhausted from all the school work and extra-curricular activities my 4 men had going on.
I vowed that when school got out we were going to chillax all summer.
That lasted for one week.
That one week of chillin turned in to one week of straight WWF from sun up to sun down.
Never again.
I signed us up for anything and everything I could find.
With all the summer running around there has been less time to blog.
I experimented with bringing on a couple of
