I was finally able to fulfill one of my life long dreams of visiting New York City this past month and I did it with the ZINK hAppy team to talk crafting, printers and bui-ness. Crafting aside, I have had an infatuation with New York City from the time I was a little girl. The minute I stepped off the plane I was star-struck. It was like meeting a celebrity for the first time...I did far too much big-eyed, OH-MY-GOSH, flapping-hands. As much as I tried to play it cool and act like I was a
A Mexican fiesta!
My in-laws are setting off for a 1-1/2 years LDS church mission to Mexico in a few short weeks.
I decided all seven of us daughters and daughters-in-law needed to get together for one last girls night before our madre left.
This couldn't be just any send-off party...
It had to be special.

I'm so excited to introduce our newest contributor, Jackie, from Teal and Lime! What I adore about Jackie is that she has vision. In the meantime, check out this video of our latest yearly family trip with my Mr.'s family.

Not yo momma’s shepherd pie.
Today we get to feature our newest contributor, Kami Kilgore, author of the blog, No Diets Allowed. Kami has a complete wise approach to maintaining weight and a healthy lifestyle. I am ADDICTED to her Fresh Sweet Corn Salsa.
Mom, what's for dinner? Honey, what's for dinner? Self, what ARE we going to have for dinner?!?! Until I became and wife and a mother, I didn't realize these questions could feel like a 50 lb bag of stress.
My busy mother raised 7 children and supported my dad
