Tell me I'm not the only one that would pay money to go back and walk through a former home?
Who wouldn't?
Homes are kind of like former relationships.
You think about them every now and again but you'd never knock on the door (or pick up the phone) and say wuzz up?
Right? Right?
A while back I mentioned in a blog post that we were going back to Arizona on vacation.
Apparently the current owner of our former Arizona pad follows our blog and saw that post.
She then emailed me inviting us
Basement reno progress.
Yesterday was a good day.
The tile guys finished grouting!
Woot! Woot!
I was downstairs dancing a happy dance on the tile all night.
Seriously better than a trip to Disneyland!
How awesome is this tile?!
Tile manufacturers have made huge strides in the world of faux wood ceramic tile.
We put ceramic wood tile in two other parts our home a couple years ago and it looks like tile that is trying to chameleon itself in to wood.
In other words, you can tell it ain't wood.

Chicken Sausage and Sweet Potato Stew
Kami Kilgore from No Diets Allowed is back with another yummy.
Today she's made a de-lish stew... perfect addition to the chilly fall evenings. Take it away Kami!
I'm a busy wife and mom AND I know I'm not alone (thanks for being crazy busy with me). Just because we have many hats to wear doesn't mean we need to compromise on having healthy dinners! "Don't you even dare think of touching me."
None the less, I'm still in love it.
I've never seen more unique and interesting plants ANYWHERE, EVER.
Plus, the
Choosing a basement area rug.
Project basement remodel is coming along.
If you follow me on Instagram you saw that tile installation has begun (thanks to the Tile Shop)
which means it's time to start shopping for an area rug.
The Mr. keeps questioning why we need to get a rug to cover the brand new flooring we're putting in.
"Oh dear, dear, dear..." (eyes closed, head shaking).
"Layering, Honey. Layering." (He'll get it when he sees it).
I've partnered with Plush Rugs to do a giveaway and review but I first need to
Name that wallpaper.
We are getting to the home stretch of the basement remodel and I couldn't be more excited.
In my complete true-to-form fashion I've taken on another major project before the original one is done.
It's a bad case of Design A.D.D.
At any rate I've got my master bedroom remodel on my mind and I'm moving full steam ahead.
I have big plans for a complete overhaul and am gathering up all my design elements to share with you soon.
So I'm in need of some more of your fantastic mad detective
