I've decided to actually put some real thought and effort in to decorating this holiday.
This year's theme at my house is "It's a white Christmas" (would you expect any other color from me?).
One of the questions I ALWAYS get is, "How can you have so much white in your house with kids?"
My reply is always, "White keeps you honest".
When there's dirt somewhere, I see it and I clean it up (or just leave it). I don't like dirt to be camouflaged so I never know it's there.
On the flip side, did
A little goodness in the world.
There's not a lot on tv or the internet that makes that big of an impression on me but this little video brought tears.
Seemed so very appropriate to share during this time of year.
Do you have fresh breath?
I have a few phobias.
Tall buildings, scorpions and bad breath.
I think it was my 3rd grade math teacher who introduced me to my 3rd phobia.
I was standing at his desk asking for help with a problem and the odor of coffee + nicotine was enough to never ask for help again.
I'm certain that's why I hate multiplication to this day.
Seriously peeps, fresh breath is a courtesy we owe to not only ourselves, but others as well.

DIY Phone Book Decoupaged Ornaments.
Our Christmas tree is almost complete and I can't wait to share it with you.
But before I do...a little diy, ornament action first.
Aside from the tried and true glass ornament balls I have NEVER purchased or even been inspired by any Christmas ornaments, EVER.
Then I happened to be at Home Goods the other week looking for new sheets and this little bird tweeted at me.
I thought he was sporting the Sunday newspaper but upon closer inspection he was actually wearing the "C", "R", and "M"
Rustic Holiday Decor.
When it comes to holiday decor I love scenes that stick with a theme.
Red and white, gold and silver, all blue, rustic...
It just makes for such a dramatic impact.
Our holiday decor looks like a serious identity crisis. We've got a bit of everything and A LOT of macaroni-school-handmade-ornaments.
Today we're trimming the tree and it's anyone's guess how it will all shape up.
