I vow to never leave Christmas shopping to the last two days before Christmas again.
It's enough to turn a person in to a major Scrooge.
To avoid the typical Christmas morning spiolage, this year we've told our boys that Santa will be leaving three presents each just as Jesus received 3 gifts of gold, frakincense and myrrh.
Choose wisely.
Over the next two days there will be Luke 2 and Matthew 2, Aunt M.'s famous homemade Mexican feast, decorating sugar cookies, boys checking to see if its
DIY Paint Stick Arrow Ornaments at some winners.
Good morning shoppers!
Only 5 shopping days left until Christmas and I have done NO shopping yet.
None as in zero, zilch, nada.
Time to panic!

But first, I'm going to tease you with some house projects we've been working on.
2 1/2 years ago we remodeled this house. Even though it turned out to feel like a completely new house there were a lot of things left undone, unpainted, undecorated and unattended to. We were exhausted and done. Who cares that the baseboards were uncaulked and unpainted? The budget was blown and our inner remodeliva's were tired.

When the hubs and I were newly married we were poor.
Ramen noodle, crackers and water, college student poor.
We were going to school in Hawaii and didn't have enough money to fly home for the holidays (wah right) so we had a Mele Kalikimaka Christmas.
