One of the projects we get A LOT of questions about are the built in bunk beds we have in our younger boys room.
Bunk beds used to be viewed as...how should I say?...less than desirable.
Then someone came along and made them hip by building a custom version and making them built-in.
Now, everyone wants built-in bunk beds.
I get questions weekly about our bunk beds so I thought I'd revisit them (and also show you how we recently updated them).
We installed the bunks in 2013. I drew up the
The wall that had 9 lives.
Interior design is very much like fashion. It changes over time.
Which is why I change the rooms in my home.
Often.
(I wish I had the same passion for fashion as I did interiors but I'm still wearing the same hole-y jeans from 6 years ago).
This wall is the wall that had 9 lives.
First, it was...a disaster.
Then it was white.

Meet Tanker…
Funny how your design style is largely influenced by your life's circumstances. Living with 4 men (+ a grandpa) I find that I have to cater to a more masculine style. I love pink but it just doesn't fit within the current theme of my life right now and that's fine. Over the years I've definitely found the attractiveness in steel, deep moody colors and rich woods. Which brings me to our latest addition. Meet Tanker...
My teenage son needed a desk upgrade from the desk he had
