The start of a new year sparks new year's resolutions.
In addition to all the common ones...loose weight (check), exercise more (check), eat better (check), I have also made a resolution to not burn the house down.
Getting yourself and 3 little men out the door is an art.
When you add multiple kids to any equation things get foggy and you forget to do things a normal person would make a mental note of doing.
I have been late to countless appointments because I've turned the car around,
Hallway re-fresh.

Happy 2015! I can't believe we're already a week in! Wasn't Christmas just yesterday?
I always love the time between Christmas and Jan 1st. We usually go to grandma's in Vegas and just hang out.
It's the time where I relax, take inventory of life, dream big and make new agreements with myself.
Then we come back home and I start tearing the house up and plan new projects.

2014…Year in Review.
I'm a day late for a year in review as 2014 has officially come and gone.
After taking a look back I'm surprised how much we accomplished.
Let's take a little walk down memory lane...
We made a lot of progress to the basement in 2014.
The best completion was finishing a family room in the basement.
We also finished a basement bathroom to service the family room and guest bedroom (makeover coming in 2015):

As you know I've had the great opportunity to be a Filtrete Brand blogger this past year. Part of my duties have been to review 4 different Filtrete Air Filters throughout the year. After almost a full year of
Staining then cleaning my rug with Bissell.

An entire blender full of raspberries, spinach, pineapple and orange on my vintage Persian rug.
I panicked, grabbed a towel and started to try and rub it out which really just rubbed it in more. (I don't think clearly in pressure filled situations).
This was the kind of emergency that needed attending to

One of my favorite shows on tv is House Hunters. If you haven't seen it, the premise is a buyer(s) looks at three houses for sale and buys one at the end. It's always interesting to listen the prospective buyer's comments. 9 times out of 10 they talk about what a great entertaining space the living room or dining room would be. When the Mr. and I were house hunting we said the same thing. The funny thing is we are so not the entertaining type. Family life
