This is a sponsored post but all thoughts, opinions and projects are my own. I was given paint to use and review.
The little man's room makeover is coming along nicely. I'm so excited about it I just may kick him out before he's even had a chance to take ownership of it and move in myself. Currently we're still doing the big stuff like paint closet doors, installing a feature wall, refinishing his dresser but we're also finding time to do detail decoration stuff.
Today the boys and I painted

I mentioned in my last post that our RV trip was the best family vacation we ever took. Every time I say that out loud I'm positive it sounds a little absurd and you're probably thinking we haven't been to very many cool places as a family. Maybe? Maybe not? What I learned on our RV trip was that it was all about the journey, not the destination. Oh crap, my parents were right. Thinking back, we laughed harder sitting around the table in the RV, bumpin' down the road playing games than we
RV Road Trip 2015 and an Access RV Trip Giveaway.
For our family vacation this year I had dreams of a lovely hotel on a tropical island. Not that my men wouldn't have loved the beach but they had other ideas of their own. They were thinking of something a little more hands-on. Like an RV hands-on. I was out-voted 4 to 1 so off we went across country on a RV. If you follow us on Instagram you've been up to date on our RV-adventures that started in Indiana and ended in Salt Lake City, UT thanks to the awesome folks at Access RV Rentals.

Little by little we've given it a face lift to boost it's curb appeal.
For our ACE Hardware project this month we had the opportunity to tackle a project using a tool from ACE's Primo tool line. I've always loved window planter boxes and decided to make this a family project. The bedroom windows on the house are
When Life Gives You Lemons…Make Corner Floating Shelves
We're making good progress with my oldest son's bedroom makeover.
Planks are up and painted, new closet doors have been ordered and I'm off to pick up some vintage school pieces I won at a school surplus auction tomorrow to decorate the room.
A linen closet on the other side of this wall is the reason there is this little jog of a space.
It's a really annoying pop-out. I almost wish they would have just made the linen closet bigger on the other side of the wall in order to keep the whole
