Birthday wishes!
Today this cutie pie turned 5 years old. Last night dad told him that he would cook him a special birthday party breakfast. This morning at 5:48am Tani came in my room and asked me to help him put on his special shirt (a.k.a. church shirt) for the party.
"You already had your bday party," I said.
"No, my bday breakfast party!" he reminded me.
On very special occasions the "You are Special Today" plate gets dusted off.

More handyman specials.
As promised, here are a couple pictures of the other small bookshelves Mr. Handyman made for me. Command Central.
I don't know about your neck of the woods but our fine city is singing the economy blues. My front door is plastered with flyers advertising home improvement services at astonishing low rates. Gifted craftsmen are begging for work and will do it for very little. Sad.

When we first moved in this home almost 2 years ago I envisioned
MINE!
These babies are now mine thanks to my good friend Craig...('s list). (Shhh...don't tell my husband, I sometimes check him out twice a day). The color and fabric are all wrong but they are in pristine condition.
I've spent much time debating what to do with them. The cheapeast option would be to slipcover them...yawn. Been there, done that. Most my furniture is slipcovered.
Next option is to re-upholster them. Too bad it's so stinkin' expensive. I've even strongly considered DIY'ing them.
