When I decorate I always try to work with and use what I already have.Many times those things don't always go together because they are the wrong finish or color...so...I paint.

To paint this cabinet here's what I did
(all with a paint brush for all the nooks and a small roller for the larger pieces):
1. Wipe cabinets clean.
2. 2 coats of Zissner's No Sand Primer.
3. 2 coats of basic black in semi-gloss Behr.
4. 2 coats of water based Verathane.

Our guest bathroom is done (for now) so it's time to reveal.

It all started out as a typical monsoon rain storm.
When our Palo Verde tree got ripped out of the ground and started spinning around in circles in the sky we decided to call it the Tucson Hurricane of 2010.
Neighbors all came out in disbelief to discuss the aftermath.Stories of tiles being ripped off rooves, iron patio furniture being launched in the sky like marshmellows...no, this was no typical monsoon storm.
We later found our tree sitting in our neighbor's front yard who lives 8

My baby embarked down the 13 year road of required education yesterday.After he was all settled in to his new classroom I anticipated elation to set in.On the contrary, I walked around sad and blue all day long.It looks like all smiles here in this picture. Oh, just wait for my big goof up to ruin everything...
