We have a cute little guest room in our basement. The boys have nicknamed it "Grandma's Room" because that's where she stays when she comes to visit.
It also doubles as the junk room where we dump my treasure hunting finds that I can't pass on but also don't have any place for.
It was high time to give grandma's room a little more thought and attention with a room re-fresh.

Choosing a Logo for The Old Flamingo.
We officially made it alive through our first week as owners of The Old Flamingo. Suffice it to say I am exhausted. Going from a customer of a store you love to the owner is a whole different ball game. It's been an emotional roller coaster of excitement, road blocks, ups and downs. Luckily The Old Flamingo has been in business since 2011 and doing quite well. Our goal is to give it the 4men1lady flair. Apartment Makeover with FrogTape – Prep
Operation FrogTape Paintover Challenge Basement Makeover is well under way (try saying that three times fast).
The basement apartment has been de-cluttered, cleaned up and ready for the next step.
We've been busy bees over here taping the town green and yellow with rolls of FrogTape.
As we mentioned in our planning post, this is an apartment so painting the walls is something we're trying to avoid.

Apartment Makeover with Frog Tape – The Plan
We have a cute little one bedroom, one bath basement apartment. Right now it is a bit of a catch-all.
We decided it was high time to de-clutter, organize and beautify.
The challenge is how to give this small space some big style on a small budget.
To do this we're participating in the FrogTape Paintover challenge with a handful of other fantastic bloggers.

Nope, we're not moving to Florida (although I've visited St. Augustine, FL once and it was lovely).
