Been to Anthro lately?

February 5, 2010 by Michelle Hinckley |

Thanks to my fantastic gal Michelle for sharing this email with me!

According to Anthropologie, “Fifty billion plastic bottles were consumed in the U.S. alone last year – 38 billion of which ended up in landfills. Science tells us that these bottles will not biodegrade until the next millennium.”

Well that just stinks!

So what does Anthro do? Repurpose them to make some spectactular chandeliers!
Check it…

I have seen this before and it truly amazing. It reminds me of a Dale Chihuly art glass display. Anthro always comes up with the neatest ideas. Kathysue

I see how she is making the flowers, but don’t see how it is a chandelier. Beautiful either way though!
